Online registration for MSU’s BBA programme to close on May 10

VADODARA: The online registration for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme offered by M S University's Faculty of Commerce will close on May 10. 

The entrance test for admission into this programme will be held on May 17 at the main building of Faculty of Commerce at 2 pm. 

Admission into the BBA programme is based on the entrance test conducted by the faculty which includes written test, presentation and personal interview. 

Candidates who have passed H Sc examination from Gujarat board or an equivalent examination with English as one of the subject, as a regular student with minimum of 45 per cent of marks in aggregate are eligible to seek admission to this programme. 

According to BBA programme officials, candidates, awaiting results and mark sheets can also register for the admission. 

There are 100 seats in general category, 40 seats in payment category, 40 seats in special payment category and 18 seats in foreign students' category this year. 

"This three years degree programme, through the design of 48 course titles having 177 credits in six semesters introduces students with evolving business realities, equips them with basic concepts, tools and techniques for analysis, decisional actions and appreciation of organizational environment and prepares them to deal with changing business scenarios at local as well as global level," a programme official told TOI.

84 pc students choose to settle in India for career prospects: Survey Indian students are yet to lose hope on their career prospects in India. Eighty-four per cent of graduation and post-graduation students in Delhi-NCR will choose to settle in India for career prospects while the remaining 16 per cent are of the view that moving abroad revealed a recent survey. The survey 'Youth Economics: Career Expectations Survey' undertaken by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry found that students are grappled with multiple challenges such as lack of financial resources for pursuing education vis-a-vis ever increased prices and lack of employment opportunities.
