Animation training course by ABAI for better job opportunities

Bangalore: The Association of Bangalore Animation Industry (ABAI), which is a non-profit association that promotes Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics (AVGC) business activities in India, is introducing a novel project, 'Train the Trainer (TTT)' that aims to boost the capabilities and skills of trainers in the animation industry by offering additional education through experts. This project has been initiated with the support of the Department of IT, BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka, and aims to develop industry-trained teaching faculty in the state. This six-month program is set to start on 21 April, 2014.

Experts and guest speakers from well-known studios and from the animation/ VFX industry would be conducting the training which would include teaching the fundamentals of design, aesthetics, storytelling and acting and would be supplemented by a technical revision of skills required at pre-production, production and post production stages.

Candidates successfully completing the TTT course would receive a 50% refund on the fees, and complete placement assistance.
