Rankings and an overall merit list of CLAT 2014 candidates as well state specific and category specific merit lists will be available online. A revised schedule for counseling and admission dates will also be declared.

The CLAT 2014 results were initially declared at midnight on May 31, 2014 as announced, however due to technical difficulties, the results declared were withheld according to an official CLAT statement. Many candidates noted discrepancies in marks expected and results declared for CLAT 2014. After receiving multiple requests regarding verification and scrutiny of the marks, CLAT 2014 Secretariat (convener) Gujarat National Law University further looked into the matter. It was found that there had been a mismatch with roll numbers and OMR sheets which led to the errors in the announced results. GNLU then announced recalibration of the roll numbers and OMR sheets for all candidates, and OMR sheet softcopy will also be available for candidates through their log in id.

The Common Law Admission Test was launched to centralize the Law School admission process and is conducted by the 14 participating Institutes/Universities in rotation. CLAT 2014 was organized by Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) and took place on May 11, 2014. A total of 1,660 undergraduate course seats and 491 postgraduate course seats are available for admissions on the basis of CLAT.
